Pros

Free diet coke and water and also an experience of the worst CEO/MD and management you've ever engaged with in your career and what not to look for in a workplace.

Cons

The management of the company have basically zero people skills. Upper management manages by fear and uncertainty, which unsurprisingly trickles down and makes everyone's life miserable. The office culture is extremely toxic. Executive leadership treats the majority of the company with little to no respect and tries to be involved in every small detail of their work. There is no autonomy. It is clear that they do not trust their employees one bit to do their jobs or know any information about the company strategy across teams. Employees are not treated as assets, they and there are hardly any options for professional development or promotions. Hiring people to help share the workload is incredibly difficult when the whole market knows people rarely stay longer than a six months due to the toxic culture, and the people that do stay are miserable. Micromanage is the way they run. Bullying, fear, unethical management, no words to describe the mistreatment of employees.

Thank you for your review and sorry to hear of your negative experience at GRI. We have experienced a complete overhaul in management team and business model since 2015. While we retain the same name - GRI Club - we are in every way a completely different business. Transparency is very important to us, so while we cannot comment on historical reviews, the business today strongly discourages anything but genuine, honest feedback (on glassdoor and in person).

Pros

There are none pros associated with this company

Cons

No respect for employees and clients alike. Poor decisions being made because of a lack of judgement and forceful management style, but the management will never admit that they have made mistakes. No career prospects or benefits whatsoever. Professionals serious about career prospects should never consider working in such an environment.

Pros

Everyone's as miserable as you are.

Cons

A hostile and toxic work environment due to abusive senior management staff and policies. No perks, no benefits, no respect for staff or clients. Management is filled with narcissistic and incompetent dictators. Blatant misrepresentations regarding pay, contract and work scope. False promises and lies. Poor upper management who have no idea how to properly run a company. They do not know how to retain talent or how to provide growth opportunities. Management would rather terminate than develop. Avoid this job if you want growth and job security.

When new management started at the GRI a year ago we were told that previous management had a lot of disagreements with 3 or 4 employees that had their contract terminated. The new management was made aware of the fact that these employees had expressed their feelings on here. We can not comment on what happened but we have been working hard to ensure the GRI we know now is a company of positive and motivated employees, that we are investing in our team, and that we listen and take action on any issues.
