Upper management is completely dissociated from how people work in the company, particularly newer fields such as AI and other computational tools. Top-to-down communication is enforced, however the opposite is not true.
Lack of interdepartmental communication has lead to siloization, it is extremely difficult for information to propagate throughout the company. High personnel turnover makes for many abandoned projects.
Has a consistent culture problem in upper management which is not being dealt with. Prefers to promote from outside the company, with most people being stuck in one salary stage for decades unless they find other positions or wait for a company reorganization.
