Pros

Light 35 hour work week and flexible schedule.

Cons

We have had three CFO's, three heads of customers, three heads of engineering and three heads of sales in three years. Any more questions? Our CEO has no idea what he is doing and it is clear when he cannot maintain a management team that he is the problem. He bet this business on Xerox which produced nothing and now on broadcast which I hear they are giving away to keep the failing business alive while my longtime publishers suffer. We are not profitable, have not been as promised when we were acquired and I hear we are struggling to make money and attract new people to invest. I have lived through two CEO's here and our current CEO is more clueless than the last by a long shot. Say what you want about out last CEO, but he did not employ his friends and the chairman's friends and family only to bury this business. I'll hang out for the nice lifestyle until this fails. Sad after all the time I have spent here. Marketing woman writes all the positive reviews on here to suppress the truth. Keep scrolling. The truth will be evident.

3 years, 3 layoffs

Pros

Work from home policy is nice. Flexible work hours.

Cons

Company has no idea how to spend money. There have been 3 layoffs in the 3 years that I was there, the first only 3 months after joining. CEO is clueless and has placed faith in projects that were useless (like a partnership with Xerox that has cost a lot, but made nothing). No one seems to care about the bottom line on things like server costs. All projects require lengthy turn around times and are expensive, yet they continue to take on projects that lose them money.

Pros

Great company culture; fun place to work, excellent people (especially the engineering VP and team), beer o'clock on Fridays. They do use Agile methodology and AWS, and their coding quality is top-notch. They place a strong emphasis on employee happiness.

Cons

Workforce reduction of 10% in January 2016 may have morale implications. The business outlook and change of direction to broadcast media has some risk. Company is still not profitable and controlled by investors. Although there is a 401k, there is no company match.
