My biggest issue with Gunnar is that they are still legally allowed to operate. The salaried employees work 10-15 hours days and continue to get work piled onto their plates from the CEO who only appreciates the sales team. My direct supervisors would work well into the middle of the night and be back on at 6:00am processing orders. News flash you cannot expect 1 person to the job of 4. You are belittled if you speak up about the challenges you face. One employee was voicing the issues they had and where they needed help and the CEO actually responded with "just get it done, I know you can." When you pay below the local average and have so many high stress tasks at work it can be challenging to finish your tasks. During my time at Gunnar both my supervisor and a customer service employee were getting sick from the stress. Physically sick. One had to go to the ER due to a hives breakout and fever. This is not okay, and it will not suprise me when Gunnar eventually loses it's ability to keep falling over on itself and has to go out of business. The lockeroom talk about the female influencers they collaborate with for marketing makes an uncomfortable work environment for women. HR is buddies with the CEO and has the longest tenure at the office - good luck if you move forward with Gunnar. Oh and they ship to Israel - FREE PALESTINE.
