Galaxy Integrated Technologies fosters a family-like environment with the office closing at 5 almost every evening. This allows us to build a great team with a diverse skill set. We recruit people with different backgrounds to leverage their knowledge and skills in that area. For example, we brought in a person with a police background who used his expertise to help us expand our presence in that market. In such an environment, where people can use their industry knowledge and follow their own leads, some people can flourish. Others find it difficult to be successful. This sales strategy has allowed us to expand into many markets and build a large and diverse customer base across New England, New York and New Jersey.
With that broad a customer base comes the responsibility to meet their needs. Like other company’s today, we are called upon to meet them. This means that on occasion our staff has to work longer hours than normal. That’s the reality of today’s working world.
Galaxy is a leading Value-Added Reseller/System Integrator, selling many diverse products to create solutions for our customers. In order to do that, we need to constantly provide training for our staff. Oftentimes, the people representing these products come in from different parts of the country. This does not allow us to regularly schedule training as we’d like. Nonetheless, we still accomplish our goal of getting our staff trained so they can meet the needs of our customers and to continuously expand our business.
No leadership, no formal training, no direction, no course correction. No 1:1 planned meetings for guidance or planning. Big bosses were sexist.

Galaxy Integrated Technologies’ has a different sales philosophy, that allows people to use their unique backgrounds to expand our presence in the marketplace, be it commercial or healthcare. We hold regularly scheduled staff meetings and provide guidance to our staff, as needed, on an individual basis. Our organization is a fair and open one, where all people and voices are heard. That is a philosophy and operating policy we have had and maintain to this day.
