      accessibility, no communication barriers, and employees are nice

      The leadership at the Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center is terrible. They don't know what they're doing, and there's high turnover because the leadership is difficult to work with. There are issues with poor planning, unhappy employees, and a tense, toxic workplace. They do not embrace neurodiversity, and HR is not a helpful resource.

Work-life balance is tricky due to high expectations for quick-turnaround projects, especially during peak academic seasons. Some departments could improve processes for remote collaboration, as not everything transitioned smoothly post-pandemic.
