Pros

Casual work environment and reasonably flat hierarchy. Testers have to endure a lot of tedium but are given a lot of flexibility and responsibility in doing their own duties, so it's good for someone looking to get a foothold in the industry and make a splash.

Cons

Many responsibilities geared towards "professional development", but at very low pay with high expectations. The people are usually quite nice and don't try to control your behavior with an iron grip, but you will be run ragged with work and need to make sure you're getting something out of it besides the compensation, because it isn't great.

One of the most painful work experiences I can imagine.

Pros

Great benefits and legitimately great people and some managers.

Cons

Abusive sophomoric upper management. Borderline Illegal worker treatment. Very high gossip and click groups. When an employee is singled out for firing or forced layoffs they are very effective on keeping moral up. The company has a very strong if your not what we want at any given moment we will replace you vibe. I couldn't be more disgusted with a company. The mental anguish that I received there was nearly career ending. This was the case in 2012. The management has been switched out several times since then and the problems could of been fixed.

Pros

Progressive policies like mental health days

Cons

They were bought out so a lot of the good perks went away.
