Pros

The employees of the most part are very enjoyable to be around

Cons

Where do I even begin? Back before this facility got bought out, it wasn’t bad. Sure there were problems just like any other workplace. But at least they treated you like a person instead of someone who fills a job. First of all, if you have any legitimate suggestions on how to improve the work or environment, you may as well keep them to yourself. They don’t really care what you have to say. Favoritism from management is unbelievable. The employees who get their job done and don’t make too much of a fuss are more often than not the ones managers have under a microscope. The ones who are constantly late, can never seem to work a full 40 hours or ones who produce mediocre work are the ones who seem to skate by without any sort of issue. And while we are in the subject, let’s address the attendance policy. Did you know that it only takes 6 points for you to be terminated? And you can get pointed for basically anything. One minute late clocking in from lunch? Point. Child’s school called and you have to pick them up because they are sick? Point. You yourself have to leave early because you don’t feel well? Point. And while there is a policy in place, they will tell you that it is ultimately up to your managers discretion on if you receive points or not. And you may still receive points even though you have time to use because nobody knows the actual rules of this “policy”. And yes, you seriously truly get in trouble over one minute.

Pros

work from home and access to high end brands for discounted prices

Cons

When starting at the original business the company felt like small business doing big things, local owners/managers and a connected team. After being purchased By Game One the message was to be a team player, shortly after being welcomed to the team they let go all but the most needed workers and moved us to purely Remote which would be nice if they planned a structure, currently there are 5 different facilities working under one name but with different hold over practices from before they were acquired, management does not know what the right way is but everyone is doing it wrong. Any position with real knowledge and experience of things such as production and the process to ship and produce were let go and in their place we were introduced with a rotating cast of outsider remote management workers with no real rubber to the road knowledge but all the bureaucratic procedures to hide their lack of usefulness in what mattered, the client an the product All to say Game One and its management did not only ruin its own business but every other business it acquired making it effectively less then the sum of its parts

Pros

If you work 80-90 hours a week and weekends you can make good money

Cons

Company is growing but the changes are not being implemented in an organized pace. Everything is action first and plan second. The company likes to cheerlead, but really it’s all about bottom dollar and making it look good instead of about the employees. The sales department will take the grunt of hits and risks and technically should be titled as independent contractors. I would not recommend at all unless you are a single person without a social life. Do not raise your voice or opinion on any matter because it falls on deaf ears.
