Pros

Pro’s -New office! -My experience here was so terrible I was motivated to look for another job and now I’m in a significantly better situation. In this case, the grass IS greener on the other side. Just wish I had done it sooner.

Cons

-Lies about OTE. Many employees accepted roles believing what they were told in their interview and months later had to pick up second jobs just to survive. -Management gossiping about employees, taking part in bullying. It’s high school all over again. You’ll feel like you’re walking on eggshells. Managers are prone to odd outbursts and incapable of managing their emotions. -Micro-management. Every 2 hours there is a company wide email blasted of everyone’s dials. If you haven’t been calling enough, you will get a passive aggressive Teams chat from your boss. -Cold calling all day every day with little to no pay off. 200-300 dials. Maybe 6 people pick up, and they promptly hang up when they hear “Game 7.” -Company has a poor reputation within the industry. They’ve been blacklisted at many larger corporations for their unethical practices. -Despite this being advertised heavily as a hybrid role, you will have to be onsite every day because the metrics are unattainable (only 1 or 2 people in the whole company get WFH privileges for Monday and Friday each month). To be clear, this isn’t referring to 1 or 2 top performers, this is a volatile environment and you are not likely to meet metrics two months in a row even if you’re top of the weekly billing chart. -When nearly the whole company fails their monthly review they pick and choose who to punish. Some people are put on PIPs, some are told “we know you’re trying, keep it up!” and others will be flat out fired. It’s all a game of who’s been kissing up to the managers the most. Also, you read that right, MONTHLY reviews. You receive ZERO guidance in these reviews, even if you’re begging for it. These managers don’t even know how to be successful in their own company. The most they can offer up is “Get creative!” -After an AM/TR leaves, their manager will scoop up their most profitable accounts and keep them to themselves. So the rest of the AM/TR team can’t even have a shot at making commission on those accounts anymore. Managers are already making 6 figure salaries, plus commission from their team, and then on top of it stealing accounts from their team. These managers then turn around and say “Why do you think you deserve these accounts? No hands outs!” You can try until you’re blue in the face to explain how this is corrupt and backwards but they’ll just call you lazy and greedy behind your back. -If you speak up about anything negative, management will make your life miserable. -CEO/COO will talk about how the company is in dire financial stress and then go on a tropical vacation for a week. Or buy another luxury vehicle. Or another house. Or go MIA for weeks at a time, offering no support to the team.

Pros

Hi! You might be looking at the reviews for this company right now because you're considering applying or taking a position here. You were probably recruited by the CEO/COO for an open position as an account manager...well that's because they've lost about 60% of their team in the last couple of months, due to abuse and mistreatment during their time at this company, who have since moved on to bigger and better things. If you see a positive review left below in the past month or so- know that it is most likely management or a former employee they have paid and/or bribed (not an uncommon practice for them) to leave on their company's page. So take it with a grain of salt. I have never worked at a company as dysfunctional, unprofessional, and SO poorly managed, as I did during my time as Game Seven Staffing. Not only can you expect to make upwards of 200-300 cold calls per day (often with no result/payoff), but you can expect to not be given the time of day unless you are willing to suck up to upper management. If that is something you are comfortable doing in order to advance in your career, then by all means, go for it. But if you are a person of integrity who stands up for yourself when you are mistreated- this is not the place for you. Trust me. The upper management of this company (with the exception of one, really awesome manager) are some of the most irresponsible, irrational and inept people I have ever had the displeasure of working for. Pros? I made some really great friends at this company through bonding over our frustrations. So that was a nice outcome :)

Cons

Aside from my frustrations I listed above pretty clearly, I'll also mention: - Low base pay - Don't expect to make any commission for about the first year of working there - Hours are long because it consists of cold calling (they refuse to utilize any other form of outreach) - No clear communication with upper management - "Hybrid work model" they advertise is based on monthly performance reviews that usually about 3ish people per month actually pass (if you don't pass, expect to be onsite 5 days a week) - Unattainable metrics and KPI's (setting you up for failure) - Expect your managers to talk poorly about you to your other colleagues and vice versa - Petty and erratic decision making from people in positions of leadership - critical and objective thinking is not their strong suit
