Pros

Team members are very good nature-wise & pay is also average to good.

Cons

Management practices leave a lot to be desired. Employee well-being does not appear to be a priority, and many company policies/values exist more in theory than in practice. The work environment often feels rigid ,scrum and office timings resemble a classroom more than a collaborative workplace. Your entry/exit time is monitored and has been pointed out to multiple employees. Scrum masters are usually there to create pressure on employees. There is a lot of micromanagement done. While the company claims good WFH policies, in reality, they are approval based and approvals are very tough. High developer attrition speaks volumes about underlying issues. Employees are expected to perform at their best with minimal support or guidance. Expectations are high, but mentorship and feedback are lacking. Interns, in particular, face unrealistic performance demands with little to no structured feedback, leading to just hire & fire. Additionally, a significant portion of the work (~50%) is client-facing, which may not suit everyone. It’s advisable to speak with current employees before joining to get a clearer picture. Favoritism among some managers also affects team dynamics, with clear preferences impacting opportunities and work assignments. Overall, consider these aspects carefully before making your decision to join.

Pros

- After working here, your next job will feel more satisfactory and rewarding - There's lot to learn in this category, as mobile gaming is booming in the emerging markets - The nature of business offers global exposure

Cons

- The management lacks vision, direction and experience - The environment is very risk averse, unoriginal and discourage employees to try out new things - Conservative approach, you will be micromanaged at every stage, any conflicting views are simply discarded - Poor people management, they don't think of employees as long term assets. Hence despite being a new startup they don't offer ESOPs to anyone

Toxic Work Environment with Poor Management

Pros

1. Founders are approachable. 2. Co-workers/ teammates are good and helpful

Cons

Engineering Management Approach – Engineering management tends to be highly involved in day-to-day work. There is significant pressure due to tight deadlines from the product team, and work-life balance can sometimes be challenging. There have been instances where time-off requests faced resistance. Limited Growth Opportunities – A significant portion of the work (approximately 70%) involves repetitive tasks like implementing UI popups. Those seeking diverse technical challenges and career growth may find the work scope limited. Compensation Disparities – Compensation structures can feel inconsistent, with some new hires receiving higher pay despite having less experience. Demanding Work Expectations – Late-night and weekend work is often expected, making it difficult to maintain a balanced schedule. Work-From-Home Flexibility – The company has a strict four-day work-from-office policy, and remote work approvals are subject to managerial discretion, which can make flexibility unpredictable. Employee Monitoring – The company uses biometric tracking for attendance, including entry and exit times. Some employees have concerns about how this data might be used. Strict Attendance Policies – Punctuality is strictly enforced for daily meetings and office check-ins, with minimal tolerance for delays. ESOP Concerns – Employee stock options may not provide significant financial benefits.
