Pros

Management has done one thing right - hired wonderful people. These wonderful people are what makes working here great. Management and HR is what makes working here awful! We have a great client with a great product and many people who work here are huge fans of the product and it shows - its unfortunate that management ruins the experience for their employees.

Cons

Management has done everything else wrong. They don't agree on anything and the negative, bitter, angry vibe they have trickles down. They yell, swear, harass, intimidate, belittle and retaliate if you try to stick up for yourself. There is a small group of employees that should have been fired by now -terrible work ethics! Yet they get promoted/raises/top pay while the the employees that are actually working and have ethics are treated poorly, overlooked and not promoted or given raises, eventually fleeing for greener pastures. This place is so chaotic and run by greed and ego (the exec team and Hr) - so if you are looking for structure, organization, competitive pay, and a healthy/happy environment, equality, recognition for merit - this is NOT the place! If you even think about working here, wear your armor because they will be diligent about beating you down, unless of course you're an excellent brown-noser who is a master delegater that takes credit for other peoples work, then you will fit in just fine and probably move through the ranks and pay grade rather quickly! Another Con - HR. The worst I have ever encountered! Good luck with the ridiculously long on-boarding and ever changing interview times. They are the most unhappy, uninviting, miserable group who think they are better than everyone. They are rude and incompetent and very sour!

Pros

Great office in a great location. Some very cool, creative people. The client makes a great product.

Cons

The environment is generally toxic (Google "Toxic office culture"; practically every article you'll find could have been written specifically about TGTM.) Leadership, particularly from the executive team, is an absolute disaster. The overall management structure is arbitrary at best and asinine at worst. HR is beyond incompetent, which has allowed the worst aspects of ad agency culture (nepotism, gossip, favoritism, verbal abuse, harassment) to run rampant. As a result, most of the great people who were here at the beginning have fled, turnover is getting worse, and the agency's reputation is in a downward spiral (ask around).

Pros

You get to meet people who equally hate the company as you do. Basically people become friends from talking about how much they hate working here.

Cons

Terrible management, terrible communication between client and agency, constantly on fire-drills and last-minute client requests... Just not really a place of employment to start or end at. Account management gets the best reputation, but media, analytics, and creative are all departments to steer clear of. Salary is also a joke.
