      Great job, love it! I love working with plants for Lowes, and the employees there are wonderful

      Cons

      My job with Gardenvision ends December 31, 2021, as Lowes didn't renew their contract

      Pros

      Working outdoors, lots of time to yourself, good break times, most Lowe's people are friendly.

      Cons

      I don't know how other places did it but I got maybe 6 hours of Training then got thrown right in by myself. The Lowe's garden center was short staffed so you end up doing twice the work. And for 9$ an hour that is ALOT of work. Be prepared to sweat, get filthy, and work in rain and sun for a low wage. And if they decide your stores busy and you need help. Be prepared to have your hours cut in half when they hire somebody else.would NOT recommend this job to anybody.

      Pros

      Spring hours are 40 Straight starting at 9.50 hourly from March-May. Outdoors is nice in the fall and winter months.

      Cons

      Hours drop significantly down to 20-26 hours in the off season. Working outdoors can be problematic when it rains or temps exceed 90°. Pay is not enough for the amount of work to be done. Supposed to be a "help and assist" for garden center employees but you are pretty much the only one that stocks new plants correctly. Lazy Lowe's employees not much help if any at all.
