Pros

Most employees are decent people. Above average retirement benefits

Cons

This is not an Enginnering firm, this is a firm that squeezes its employees and clients for every penny. This is a firm that "encourages" it employees to work work work with a promise of a "ever increasing" bonus without proper compensation. As an Engineer, they will severely low ball your hourly rate with the promise of OT and a bonus, only to leave you disappointed and over worked. Once you become a project manager, your pay is based on your billings. You have to work your tail off to make a slightly above average pay. Its clear that the Project Managers are beat into the ground to perform. Most are severely under qualified technically and have no clue what they are doing. Their only concern is billing the client, even of the work is not legit. Forget overhead at this place, it doesn't exist. The company doesn't eat a dime nor do they care about the happiness of the clients or employees (which they would never admit). Dont believe most (if not all) 5 star reviews on here. 'Rumor' is that they were staged by management (ok they definitely were) to boost their Glassdoor rating. Dont be fooled by the flashy new building, cars, computers etc. This great stuff was purchased on the backs of hard working employees swindled out of the money they should be making.

Pros

Upper management is pretty liberal with spending money which often results in free lunch or leftover food. The kitchen is also equipped with good coffee and water selections.

Cons

Where to start? Be ready to work 50+ hours a week while earning the SAME salary as your 40hr/ week peers at other firms. Otherwise you should expect to be placed as an average to below average performing employee with lack of drive. There is a quarterly “performance” bonus which is in no way based on performance ... it’s based on complacency and willingness to do whatever a Project Manager wants. It can also be based on how “cool” you are, depending on who your supervisor is. Each week a meeting occurs with all Project Managers where employee hours are bargained for and it feels as though there never enough work hours for employees yet they continue to hire?? As many of the other reviews on here state, there is a pretty heavy cult mentality here. The only “promotion” you can achieve is “Project Manager” which is certainly not for everyone due to the very unique and unsustainable structure of the organization. I can 100% confirm that the string of good reviews on here all in that small time frame were requested by an employee in corporate to boost the Glassdoor rating. Corporate also tried to have Glassdoor adjust the reviews but to no avail, because Glassdoor is committed to providing accurate info - that was pretty refreshing to learn! And the company is small enough that one person must have shared this information resulting in pretty much everyone being aware of this. I worked here for several years. I liked many of the people I worked with. I enjoyed doing work that felt meaningful, but in the last two years or so it unfortunately feels like corporate - specifically the CEO - is deteriorating. The things they focus on are very odd. The approaches and changes they are making are strange and certainly not something ~most~ employees are willing to or able to get on board with. The clarity is non-existent. The personnel they choose to value among corporate is baffling. Getting out of there was the freshest breath of air I could have imagined. Too many silly and useless “programs” are used to distract employees from the mess that this organization has to offer as an employer. I implore anyone who is considering this employer to please consider elsewhere.

Pros

Decent location and Bagels on Tuesday

Cons

Poor, poor, toxic leadership. Expectations way too high. No guidance and the little guidance is called "coaching". Engineers have to scrounge to find work to keep busy so they are deemed worthy. They are NOT open to change or new ideas. It was disappointing. They trust the wrong people and promote the wrong people into management who are not qualified.
