      Pros

      Good exposure for students and analysts to M&A process. Relaxed Environment. Good mentor programs.

      Cons

      Grossly underpays employees including Associates. Repetitive Work. No Clear direction or strategy. Management's personal life interferes with success of company. This is a one man shop and all of the company's success depends on one guy. Never get any deals done. No real modeling responsibilities.

      Pros

      Flexible work schedule is good for students. Your job title is a stepping stone into the industry. You should be able to tailor your experience into a package that other PE firms will at least respect. Everyone in the office is nice.

      Cons

      Low pay, little upward mobility, you are sourcing deals, so that involves a lot of secondary research. There is almost no financial modeling required.
