Pros
Very good benefits, dogs allowed at work, nice office space in Midtown, catered lunches
Cons
Culture: I have never worked somewhere with so much gossip, backstabbing, and general blaming of others with no accountability. It's fine to be a young professional, but you have to be just that -- professional. Managers shouldn't be gossiping, especially to the people that report directly to them. This caused a lot of favoritism and paranoia when I was there. Turnover: While turnover is common within entry-level positions, turnover here is across the board. Within 3 months while I was there, everyone on the sales team left. Managers change all the time, especially in sales. It's hard to ever make progress when you're being told different things constantly and when leadership changes so often. This year alone, they hired a new CFO and COO, both of whom left within a matter of months. Vision/direction: This company has no idea what it's doing long-term. It's understandable that things would change once Vista became involved, but most everything suffered as a result, including innovation. You can't survive without acknowledging what your competitors do better, when you can't appropriately scale/invest in your Product & Dev team, and when no one in C-level/upper management understands the very industry that the product is supposed to cater to.
