Pros

Steady and reliable work. My coworkers are professionals and there is minimal drama. The benefits are great too.

Cons

They want us to work on our days off even though we have a regular schedules. Marriott used to be a STARS (worker) first company. They have since changed their company values and every 6 months there are new policies that support business and the company first. It's become very corporate.

Pros

Free parking One free meal

Cons

Management isn’t great, will cut your hours and doesn’t actually care about you. Not much room for growth and promotions are not based on skill and qualifications. Lots of favoritism. No guaranteed hours or job security. Food quality has dropped for employees due to budget cuts. 401k matching is misleading, you have to be there for years to be eligible. Health insurance isn't great.
