Pros

- Joined in 2021 when they had a logical work culture. - Gives salary on time.

Cons

Politics growing day by day 2023 onwards. Group of higher management people (team leads, tech architects, etc.) had total control over HR department and hence mentally tormenting the workforce. Higher authorities laying blames on junior developers to save themselves because eventually everyone is scared of sudden layoffs (in the form of PIPs mainly). Basically for them, it is a game of hierarchical power and cost cutting. HR department targetting employees with comparative higher salary to lay them off irrespective of their work. So many of my colleagues/friends have now been laid off because of work politics, egos of higher management, and lack of licking their you know.

Pros

1) your team can be considered under PROS 2)I f you want to study/learn by yourself and also want to be paid an amount (e.g. 15-20k), this company is best suited for you. 3) If you are really good at pretending of doing work, congrats!!By next year you'll be promoted(even as team lead)(Note : if this company exists till next year).

Cons

My, my... It's impossible to list all the concerns—the list is just too long! But I'll do my best to keep you informed and safe. 1) Replacing full-time employees with interns has become their new business model for maximizing profits. 2) Layoff is a new norm. 3) The most common reasons for layoffs include: not being glued to your seat even when there's no work, taking lunch and breakfast breaks, taking sick leaves, or simply being "unaffordable" overnight—even if you were their favourite employee just a week ago. 4) Founder A.K.A Founder, top level members has lost visions completely. 5) They are shifting from an online business model to a tuition-center approach, thinking it will be more profitable. 6) Teamwork is dead—employees are forced to sit idle in the office while the CEO and CTO fail to provide any strategic direction. 7) work hours has been increased from 45 to 48 hours weekly. 8) They are asking full time employees to up-skill where as the top level 4-5 employee are not skilled yet, there are so unskilled that if anyone takes fresher level interview with them, they're gonna fail in that too. 9) Layoffs are no longer based on performance or feedback; it’s now a lottery system. 10) At this rate, the company is likely to shut down within the next 3–4 months (as of January). 11) There is no work structure in place—anyone can do anything, with no proper SDLC or Agile methodology being followed. This lack of structure damages employees’ interview skills, as they are unable to articulate a proper approach when asked. After all, which company would hire an employee who comes from a completely unstructured work environment?

Pros

I started in GFG around 2021 and completed 2 years in the organization before moving away. As these are "Pros" I will list some that I encountered during my time but be aware they are not available anymore. - Everyone is pretty young at the workplace so have people to bond and communicate with. - I encountered some great challenges and opportunities that I am blessed to have as they helped me grow professionally and personally a lot. - Team culture WAS oriented to problem-solving and innovating. - Overall it WAS the best place to start your corporate journey. PS: Do read the CONS and read the sentences of pros CAREFULLY.

Cons

You might think that this review is very opinionated and biased, well I worked in the company and you are going into it, judge yourself! - It lost the core or spinal of a tech company, Innovation Mindset. The company is very much focused on just profitability. - The seniors are on a high horse since their promotions treat every employee as a "resource" rather than a "co-worker". - The head of the company lacks ideas to grow their business and has zero sense to move forward and thus focuses on FIRING SENIOR-EMPLOYEES to save money instead of hiring. - Everyone is utterly unhappy with the management because everyone sitting on top wants to micro-manage. - They will ask you to work on weekends and after office just for the sake of rushing a deployment to please the CEO. - "HR", there way many HRs then needed in this company, and the way they work is hideous they have no understanding of how organisations work and just want to please the Employer. CONNECT TO FORMER or CURRENT SDE on LinkedIn before joining NOTE: "CEO sometimes monitors like a guard how much phone you use in the office through cameras when you come and when you go."
