Pros

Very good business development training. I was going to school for business management and the training I got during my time with Genesis was extremely helpful! Not only did I learn a ton but it opened a lot of doors for me as well.

Cons

Very hands-on training. Not something I personally consider a con but I think some people would prefer more of a classroom setting at first.

Pros

I enjoyed working for Genesis Acquisitions because of the leadership, continuous training and pay. My salary wasn't what I wanted it to be but I really liked the company so I gave it a try. 2 months later I obtained my desired pay with advancing my skills and qualifying for a Corporate Training position. Normally, with companies the salary is set with a raise or bonus years down the line but Genesis rewarded me for not only working hard but for asking "how" i could get more money and growth.

Cons

There are none that I can think of at this time.

Pros

No supervision; when you were out on the field, which was trying to sell various services to shoppers at close-by Walmarts and Sam's Club's, you were on your own. You could do what you wanted with your time but if you weren't making sales you might get fired.

Cons

No benefits You had to drive to your Walmart or Sam's Club your self. Could be up to an hour drive, with absolutely no compensation for gas. You had no office or set place of work. You would show up at their "office" for a 30-minute meeting before you would head out. Locations would change, if you got a 20 min drive you were lucky

Genesis Acquisitions Response

We are very grateful for your feedback! We are so sorry you feel you had a bad experience with our company. The reason we do multiple interviews and provide a final job shadow interview is to show you exactly what you would be doing in the position you applied for. We always want to be extremely transparent in our interview process. Although you listed little supervision as a pro, one of the things we take pride in at Genesis Acquisitions is our strong leadership core and being able to mentor others, because of this every individual is assigned a manager/leader. This leader is responsible for training, developing, and helping each person on their team set and achieve, personal, team, and business goals in turn we are able to achieve our clients goals. We do a multiple interview process with each and every individual we hire and we explain the benefits of our business model and management training program in detail in your second round interview where we are completely transparent, about pay, hours, travel, and many other aspects of our business. We apologize and are deeply sorry if this was not explained thoroughly for you. In terms of training, everything we do is hands on so all employees know before they even get started with us exactly what to expect. We are very sorry you had a bad experience and would be happy to discuss this matter further with you in order to resolve this discrepancy. We wish you the very best in your future endeavors.
