I was very excited to begin with Genesis Marketing, until I found out on the first day of training that this was actually a door-to-door sales. When I went through the first two interviews, I was told that we would be coming to the office between 11-12 Mon-Friday for a team meeting, we would then meet with our team members and go on business consultations. What they really meant by "business consultations" is door-to-door. I found this extremely misleading and dishonest.

There is a twenty word minimum under “Pros”. If it were an option, I would write absolutely nothing. Moving on...

Cons

Nothing about the job is as listed. No matter the job entry title, you will be doing door-to-door sales. You absolutely will not make 40 and definitely much less than 30,000 per year. I am no stranger to hard work, and have no problem doing so, however I don’t appreciate being lied to and strung along. My advice to decent individuals genuinely seeking a rewarding job- do not waste a penny on transportation, or days of your life on this dead end “opportunity”. You will have more success at your local grocery store.
