Pros

Not many, only thing was basic work experience.

Cons

This company is incredibly poorly run and has little to no management or path of recourse for employees. They do not train their employees, and have no model for employee growth. They are poorly organized and I had seen multiple employees burst into tears in team meetings. Employees were constantly micromanaged to the degree that they weren't able to do their jobs. I can not emphasize enough how bad it is to work here. You will have a better work experience as a scientist/researcher literally anywhere else.

Pros

Almost none, met some very nice and smart people here, key emphasis on some

Cons

You will see a lot of good reviews here because the CEO and exec team makes people write them to keep up the appearance of a good org. Do not trust them, the 1 star reviews are not just disgruntled employees, they are the reality. In reality, the place is burning to the ground and people are abused, like literally abused, left and right. During my time here I was screamed at, threatened, and insulted almost on a daily basis. The CEO is a narcissist who will down right lie to fake important research and runs what can only be called a dumpster fire, instead of a business. HR is absent and everyone was miserable, overworked, and burnt out. I think I cried almost every week and was made to feel like a worthless human being. You will receive absolutely no compassion, support, or training and you will have to do some of the most demeaning jobs, I remember complaints of having to clean dog poop off the carpet cause the CEO's daughter couldn't figure out how to train her dog and didn't bother to look after it. Speaking of, the nepotism is absolutely insane, CEO's kids make the most money to keep it in the family and never had to show up or do any work. The BBB should really shut this place down. In addition, almost no diversity, no career growth opportunities, bullying and threats happen every day, awful work environment, and the pay wasn't even a livable wage, I literally had to ask my parents for help in order to afford my apartment and food, lived off of top ramen packs for the time I worked here. I can't say it enough, it's not even an organization, it's just a mess.

Pros

Despite being a remote work, there is a lot of care for interns. The workers are very kind and understanding, and they genuinely want interns to have a good experience and learning during the internship.

Cons

Sometimes, the instructions were not very clear.
