Upper Management needs serious work

Pros

Free single roll of sushi per shift. You work inside of Whole Foods Market.

Cons

Upper management did nothing to fix multiple serious cross contamination issues or any other issues. Practically no one at my location has any Serve Safe/Food Handling Certifications. Company claims pay & benefits are comparable to Whole Foods. Pay is significantly lower than starting wages at Whole Foods and company benefits are non existent due to Upper Management always forgetting to fill out the proper paperwork. Upper Management then says we have to wait a year to reapply for benefits.

Pros

No pros as they say they do something but it never materialise. Get to meet nice people from around the world

Cons

Ok were to start first the whole company is a con. They promise things that never happen the upper management only talk to you when they have a share holder or executive visiting your store. Pay is not great for the work you have to do. You have to many hours or not many at all depending on the shop or who called in sick. As you work inside whole foods you come secound whole foods managers/supervisors are rude they look down on genji staff.

Pros

-Get to Learn Sushi -Work at Whole Foods -Claims free benefits to FT employees (everyone at my location was denied it...)

Cons

-Low Pay -Horrible District Managers -Company doesn't care about you at all -Expects you to "work fast" nonstop like a machine your entire shift -Claims free Health Care Benefits to full time employees but won't actually give them out -They'll literally hire anyone off the street so be prepared to do 2-3 times more work then them but be paid the same amount -Lots of lazy co-workers who wont do stuff like dishes or even roll sushi, you'll get blamed for not picking up their slack -Expect not to be able to take your 10 minute breaks if you're working with those lazy co-workers -Some co-workers are very unsanitary (ie. never washes hands, change gloves, etc.) and upper management doesn't care -Complaints to upper management don't do anything, they'll just tell you to "deal with it" -They don't take work related injuries seriously, you'll have to threaten workers comp just to get stuff taken care of -If you have any culinary experience, stay far away from this company, as they will completely just use you.
