Innovative testing for wellness & preventative medicine.

Cons

Company’s decaying: 40+ people layoff without warning (many respectable managers), obscure internal revenue calculating system created by them and adjusted (downward) for their own best interest (when asked, no one can explain why), giving reps false hope as to when they will get paid commissions, prolonging release of quotas (for their best interest), merits increases for half the company, reps driving beat up cars with no word on when they will get a new car. Even though my current company is no utopia, I’m treated with respect, compensated very well and the Management is professional.

It's like a family until it's not

Pros

Most of the people that work there are amazing, and the turnover used to be very low. I believe in the products and they have helped thousands of people obtain better health.

Cons

The CEO needs to evaluate his mission and values for the company. It appears that he laid off 30+ people in middle management to save his own job. If he can't lead the company to better profitability, he should move on. If you don't want to move up in the company, working there is really fun and a happy place.

Software Management sorely lacking

Pros

Full stack developers can own apps and make an impact. Dev team are mostly smart, innovative, and fun to work with. CIO is excellent.

Cons

Sr. software manager has neither the temperament nor the skill-set to effectively manage people. She will never "have your back". Expect to get thrown under the bus. Avoid, unless you like getting sh!t on and your modern code compared unfavorably to her pet EOL framework from '99. While the CIO is awesome, you will not report to him.
