-Great opportunity to learn lots of wet-lab techniques, conceptual work, and skills that even come in handy outside of the professional workplace all within a fast-paced private industry setting. The research lab sets you up for success for the future and what to expect in a professional career within this field. -Collaborative environment and interesting topics with decent pay.

-Private industry research job meaning sometimes things get busy. The job overall taught me how to manage my time more efficiently.

You get to learn a lot of the filtration and chemical processes behind leach pit mining.
Cons
17.50/hr is way too low for someone who is adept at calculating complex chemical and hydrological procedures, especially when the company is making a killing for the work lab techs do.
