Pros

With all the financial backing there’s definitely job security in that your establishment isn’t going to close because it does so poorly.

Cons

If you’re part of a small group of people who have been there forever and all know each other and are friends, you can do whatever you want. Anyone else, salaries are a sick joke, you’ll make so much more anywhere else doing the exact same thing. Benefits are a joke. Expectations are insane. One of the worst companies I’ve ever worked for. Hourly employees end up making more than salaried managers. And most managers are required to work about 12 hour days usually. The mental toil and lack of proper compensation make it so not worth it.

Pros

Tips can be good. Since the turnover rate here is extremely high (lol), there is a good chance that you will be able to get in some extra hours.

Cons

If you respect yourself at all, don't waste your time. I worked here for two years and can whole heartedly say these people will push the narrative that they actually care about you, your voice, and the effort you put in, but it's all proven to be false with their actions. If you are queer or a person of color, don't expect to be respected or valued in any capacity. (don't expect to even if you aren't, but you definitely have better chances.) You can throw any idea of a promotion right out the window. They do not want you representing their company—even if you are the most qualified. They are racist, homophobic, and hire & protect sexual predators. Not to mention the quality of everything is just awful, yet overpriced and you will constantly have to make excuses for why the food tastes like it's 14 days old to the whiney yuppies even though it probably is.
