High Hopes, but disappointing outcome

Pros

Good pay, great benefits package, with short waiting period. Good location Employee discount Lots of Vendor perks Clean building Small office crowd

Cons

Too many chiefs & not enough indians. Small office, not overly friendly. Certain co-,workers were not very friendly or helpful, made to feel uncomfortable. Very impatient trainer, with a bad attitude. They made no attempt to hide their disgust of new hire, new hire training, repeatedly expressed displeasure when asked for assistance. Frequent conversations between employees & manager(s) regarding another's personal & confidential info without their knowledge. Management was unresponsive regarding above situation, even after respectfully & guenunly divulging feelings of discouragement & disappointment due to tenure employees demeanor. However, the tenured employee was able continue on as is. they time left started to deteriorate significantly.

Pros

Very flexible hours-a little too flexible Great pay for those that don't really put forth the effort to do their job. Good hours. Good Benefits-that is why the slackers stay with the company. No other company would allow this.

Cons

Management is very lax in managing their employees. The employees do pretty much what they want and when they want. They take too much time off and do not report it (said by one of the employees). Employees are not held accountable for their lack of work ethics. Been told by some employees that they do not do the updates that are set by the company. Dress code is whatever they want to wear at any day of the week even though the employees wear jeans and tennis shoes during the week when it supposed to be just on Friday. Only some employees help answer the phone when it should be everyone. Management is afraid to reprimand their employee for not doing their job. As long as the other employees take care of the ones who don't they think everything is ok. Has poor moral but no one says anything anymore because they have taken their issues to management before but nothing is done about it.
