Horrible company to work for. Do not care about their employees, but spew ridiculous propaganda about caring all the time in corporate communications. Chronically understaffed. Force employees to work long hours. Poor management that is incapable of planning ahead. Force employees to meet impossible tasks and deadlines without providing adequate resources or listening to their issues in completing the work. Force employees to move to different cities without taking into account life circumstances and without adequately compensating the employees to cover their ongoing expenses.

There is not any respect for work-life balance. They bid the jobs low therefore their job sites are under staffed and they expect employees to work 70-80 hours a week. It is a sweatshop. They lure you in with good offer and a high bonus and other promises but they fail to deliver. they offer upto 8% matching 401K but will find an excuse like Florida business unit did not do well therefore there s no bonus or401k matching at the end of the year. They have hired many inexperience staff with high titles since their tend to be cheaper therefore their jobsites are chaotic and very unprofessional. I have 15 years experience in construction field, by far Gilbane has been the most unprofessional working environment that I have experienced.
