I can’t think of a worse place to work in this industry.
Management will lie to you constantly
You will be micromanaged till you give in
You will have no time to do your actual job
Don’t make a mistake, they will find every way to blame it on you and “make it a learning experience”
The PMs, PXs and office are NOT your friend, you will have zero support, and they WILL absolutely go behind your back
The caliber of people is awful, no real builders but tons of construction cheerleaders.
So much turnover for superintendents, it’s crazy. Most new superintendents only last 1-2 years at most. Some have quite in as little as 3-6 months
You will be disappointed – I can guarantee it. Anyone that says differently, either drank the “Kool-Aid” or is easily brain washed.
Go elsewhere, these people have no idea what they are doing.
