      Pros

      GDI plays an unusual role in the space of global development: Incubating "field-building" initiatives that are ambitious, collaborative, and mission-driven. Really thoughtful leadership that's sharp on strategy, developing strong teams, building great partnerships. Work culture encourages independence and entrepreneurship.

      Cons

      The work is truly global and that means working with colleagues remotely and not getting much in-person time.
