Management is a disaster. Turn away while you can. The CEO does not even know how to work the database. He does not care at all about his employees. He walks around bragging about his million dollar lake house while the heat in the home office is broke and his employees are left to work in 56 degree weather in the dead of the winter. He has constant mood swings and is extremely unprofessional. He in unrealistic in his expectations of his employees. Expecting them to work 6 days a week when he's only in the office 2-3 days a week.
The VP smothers her employees until they are blue in the face. Expecting the sales team to write out an explanation of every call and turn that into her at the end of every day. I don't think she knows what praise is. I've been here for over a year and only heard positive feedback once or twice. So quick to reprimand- so slow to praise. It's been a while since she's actually done the job herself and I firmly believe she doesn't remember how. Constantly asking for help and her only response is "keep chopping down that tree," but never given help on how to do so. She has created a system that makes employees scared to mess up. Instead of learning from mistakes, it's best you just don't make them because the consequences are so extreme.
Management had created an environment that stunts the growth of employees rather than an environment for them to thrive. A plant cannot grow when there is a weight standing on top of it.
