Pay is not competitive, lots of turnover.
“Old Guard” mentality on a lot of things, which makes the company stagnant.
Lots of “bait and switch” in terms of pay and benefits. Healthcare plans got changed with no notice and were effectively a pay cut for many people (this benefits the business financially). Nothing was done to right that pay cut for those impacted.
Bad pay bands for titles, and they keep people below fair titles. Several of their “star performers” who had been around several years running small design projects and can’t even get a senior title (with several years more experience than Goddard’s own job descriptions).
Don’t be surprised if you apply for a title and they offer you a level below even if you far exceed the requirements for the role.
