Pros

Nice family atmosphere, everyone knows everyone and most of the people here are very warm and make you feel welcomed. When I started here, upper management knew my name and I had no clue who they were. MOST upper management and Executives don't wear the "top dog" hat so are very down to earth and great to work with and for.

Cons

There is only so far in the company you can go unless you do not mind switching departments. For certain departments, there is no career path. Since this is a family company there is a lot of nepotism, which leaves little to no growth for those paving their own path without the the help of a family member or a family friend who has been here x amount of years.

Pros

They offer half-day Fridays for office workers and you can bring your dog to work.

Cons

Compensation is a struggle. They have been hesitant to offer substantial bonuses or pay raises. There is so much nepotism happening, and family members/close friends are given raises or promotions during times when everyone else in the company has been told they are on a hiring/promotion freeze. Everyone is stressed all the time and there is little to no actual support offered to employees. When our morale surveys hit their all-time low, HR simply sent out a newsletter telling us to "get better sleep and be more positive." Diversity is truly lacking. There is almost no room for career growth, upwards or otherwise. It has become a disheartening work environment.

Pros

Nothing. Except some good lower level people and the owners.

Cons

The upper management. A few years ago they made a couple moves and promoted the wrong people. Ever since then all the smart people have been leaving left and right. Now only incompetence is at the top after they pushed out there most talented leader. HOW they managed to mess this company up is hARD to understand.
