Worst employment experience in my career

Pros

The company has good, dedicated employees

Cons

The President, CEO, and COO are terrible leaders. Employee's are grossly underpaid, JP and Alice Wang are rude, deceitful, and very condescending to their employees. They are always looking to cut corners, which impacts quality of workmanship and the ability to execute correctly. Constantly dealing with customer complaints who tolerate GST at best. The company vision is flawed, partially because the leaders at every level aren't true leaders. Leadership control is terrible throughout every department...sales, engineering, project management, logistics, all of the department leaders are puppets to Alice and JP. The son who is the COO and the heir apparent to the company, he has no control over the company vision or direction. The environment is very toxic at times as employees are often walking on eggshells around the office. Many employees are severely underpaid and are scared to address this issue to management because Alice and Dennis will intimidate them. That's how they operate. All of the good employees they hire either leave for better opportunities or get fired by management for trying to implement change.

Extremely Dissapointing Experience

Pros

Good perks, although the company uses perks as means of control.

Cons

I was one of about 20 to witness the President of company, Alice Wang, scream and humiliate a co-worker. If you are not part of inner circle, prepare to be sabotaged. Not able to see the employees who wanted to be fired over the employees who simply wanted to work. Sad to say but lots of sexual harassment is being over looked by the executives.

Pros

Generally an ok company to work for, everyone is mostly pleasant. Oh, and they have a meditation room and waterfall for nice ambience if you have to be in the office.

Cons

If you have any valid technology reselling experience, avoid working here. The typical pay range for talented individuals is below the industry norm. Subsequently, I would be hesitant to advise a newcomer to work here due to the fact legacy personnel adhere to the mindset of "it's always been done that way" and are resistant to change, which cause bad habits for newcomers. There is a complete lack of business analytics available, more so the lack of understanding why it is important. During my tenure, I have been asked what basis points are and how to calculate profit from revenue and cost, or even workflow on procurement to invoicing. General business knowledge is nonexistent by many members in inside sales and operations. Lastly, commission payouts are sketchy and difficult to identify any missed margin with the lack of reporting. Many of my cohorts had challenges identifying invoiced margin, let alone having inside sales and operations properly invoice in a timely manner. I personally had to fight for two commission payouts, one of which was delayed and never acknowledged until I brought the issue up multiple times. Unfortunately, everything I learned from my time here was self taught. There is no mentorship here unlike my previous stints at other companies (hence my two star rating).
