Pros

good pay, decent insurance and wfh

Cons

the people i worked with were mean, unhelpful, and highly discouraging. so unfriendly and unwelcoming. training was an absolute mess and a nightmare, just loads and load of information thrown at you and then basically told “good luck!” The turnover rate speaks for itself (i was one of at least 3 people in my particular position that year alone) they overworked and stressed me out to the point i experienced panic attacks (for the first time in my life) daily. they made me feel ignorant and unintelligent if i asked a question as a new employee and spoke down to me if i screwed something up while still learning (ESPECIALLY the girl directly training me) also strange how seemingly all of the “higher ups” are all men….if you respected your time, your energy, and yourself, don’t apply here.

Pros

I have worked for Golden Steps for over a year and the administration is very organized, communicative, and flexible. It has been the best company to work for and have a great work/life balance.

Cons

Initially I had a hard time feeling connected to our company, yet over time we have worked out the kinks and it really feels like a big family.

Pros

good people to work with that are BCBA's and RBTs

Cons

They promise you everything and then there is no follow-through. the top management has no idea what they are doing. Too much upper management takes away from what could be put into BCBA' pay and training and pay for RBTs. they micro manage and don't let the BCBA's make treatment decisions as much as they need too.
