Pros

Despite the many shortcomings of the company, many good people end up there. It's likely you'll enjoy the people you work with even if you hate the work.

Cons

This is in response to the 3 positive (5 stars!) reviews that suddenly popped up all in Oct. Aside from the fact that these are thinly veiled attempts to boost the suffering ratings, mostly likely Jason (CEO) asked some of his most loyal to write them. Make sure they are spaced out so its not obvious! Let's look for instance at one of the Cons listed in the most recent review "At times the work load can get heavy. The expectations for high quality work with little or no mistakes..." So you're saying that the bad part about GoldenComm is that they are capable of doing a high volume of high quality work all while making no mistakes? Yes, that sounds truly awful. The truth is, they do high volume, but it's more along the lines of throw it against the wall and see what sticks, mistakes be damned. QC is very low on the priority list, let's all do just enough so the client won't walk, sue or be too angry. The bottom line is this, if you are considering working for this company I would highly recommend taking a close look at the negative reviews and know that the positive ones are calculated and intentional. Put another way, I no longer work there and I'm literally wasting my time writing this just to help a prospective client or employee get a clear picture. That should tell you something.

Pros

The Pros are that this is a place where you will get some form of compensation to physically be present. On some level that has to be a positive.

Cons

First of all lets get this out of the way. "Amazing learning and growth opportunities" sure does sound like something Jason would task an employee of his to write. It's also exactly how he thinks. This place is Amazing! no one has ever left the company, Just your typical local company with local employees (India, what? who said that?), things could literally not be any better. I would take any positive reviews as the thinly veiled self promotion they likely are. If you're interested in learning antiquated practices, you hate communication, you love rushed, cobbled-together projects and enjoy working under a management team that will never listen to anything you have to say ...ever, then this is your place! For some reason they attract good, hard working individuals that are entirely under appreciated and under paid. Project Managers and sales people are the only ones who get respect. The people who actually produce anything are usually just overloaded and underpaid and rarely get anything in the way of a compliment, certainly not a raise. Sooner or later most of them get the idea that they aren't getting that ___whatever Jason promised___ . So they leave.

Pros

No limit on time off, just self policing. Casual environment. Can try new things and get training on different work Forgiving of failures

Cons

Communication between management is poor. Verbal agreements are not respected Low salary Very Political. Expect to foster alliances to watch your back when review time comes around. Dislikes innovation and will hurt customer/employee relations to maintain status quo.
