Pros

The employees are well compensated, the funds have performed really well consistently, and they are good people to work with for the most part.

Cons

There is not a lot of room for growth. The firm seems to add more and more employees without anyone ever really being promoted.

Work Hard, Play Hard

Pros

Compensation and rewards for good work is top notch. The work is challenging, but you usually get whatever you need to get the job done.

Cons

Sr. management is relentlessly demanding. Valid reasons are sometimes dismissed as excuses. Finger-pointing happens too often because there is not a spirit of teamwork across departments.

Reconsider accepting an offer

Pros

Your health insurance is fully paid and there is free snacks/food.

Cons

It’s interesting to see positive reviews that all kind of say the same thing, but worded differently. It’s almost like their HR team was tasked with tracking the Glassdoor page… Support from management is RARE and can be seen in select teams, which ties into management not being open to feedback. I was there for about 3 years and they never completed an employee satisfaction survey because they didn’t want to be held responsible for actually doing something with the feedback. I witnessed harsh but honest and helpful feedback be twisted and employees suffer unfair consequences. Transparency should never be tied to this company unless discussing the lack of it. Managers may have issues with direct reports, but those issues are not clearly discussed in a timely manner in an effort to improve the issues. They wait until Review season only to let the negative feedback impact your record, promotion, raise, bonus, etc. If you’re serious about your mental health and professional development, reconsider accepting an offer. If you’re willing to drink the kool aid, you’ll be fine.
