Pros
Remote work, which is offered elsewhere by plenty of places. Don’t bother here.
Cons
Led by people who come from larger companies, but without the same budget. High expectations with no resources. Wendy is still there and still combative even after sensitivity training (we all know about the Wendy/bar incident - it’s not as buried as they think.) Connect the dots yourself. They fire people like they’re nothing here. The turnover is insanely high. Nepotism is OFF THE CHARTS, including hiring nearly only connections, family, spouses, and friends vs qualified people. They’re not above firing someone if they have a connection that can 1/2 way do your job. Work hard and you won’t be rewarded. They don’t “do” raises or reviews, under the guise that it’s “a startup.” It’s been 20 years. It’s not a start up. You’re just cheap. Money would have been better spent retaining employees or hiring someone to understand the brand longer than a few months. You’ll end up working for 4 companies, not one. The products are sexual in nature but the founder will mention her own sex life in meetings etc. - like a lot. We’re not interested and neither is your daughter who is on the same call, dude. The work is just bad, embarrassingly bad. Things aren’t kept in stock. It’s mismanaged like crazy. They’re aggressive with agencies. There’s constantly shifting blame. So much to do and not enough time to do it, well, because they won’t hire correctly or at all where a need exists. This is the least trustworthy company I have ever worked for. RUN FAR AWAY.
