Good Shepherd is a good entry level place to work with clients from a range of backgrounds, and especially if you are into case management, mental health and addictions. You can experience the best and worst cases together. You can also work your way up here with internal postings.
Cons
Some workers are not very compassionate or good at delegating. This leads to escalating situations with outbursts of violence and discrimination. Be nice to the clients and they will be nice to you. They are human people going through vulnerable times.
