Pros

Pretty self-directed, if you can do your job well you're left to do it which I liked.

Cons

The executives do the thing where they say they're there for you, you can rely on them, etc., and then they let you down the second they have an opportunity. I was made a lot of promises and then laid off with no notice immediately after making a huge life decision based on what they told me my future was there. Management has its head in the clouds and they care a lot more about looking cool than actually maintaining an effective workforce.

Pros

Smart and supportive colleagues Work and life balance Ability to set your own schedule - to some degree

Cons

The CEO (at the time) would change his mind frequently and would get frustrated with people if they weren't up-to-date with his newest idea/thought, even when he had never communicated it before. Lots of meetings. Meetings often weren't productive. It seemed some didn't know what to do with their time so a meeting to meet about a meeting was their way to pass by time.
