Great retail operations allowing Mission to be funded.
Cons
Unorganized work environment made it difficult to effectively manage programs. Communication between departments as poor, leading to frequent misunderstandings. Lack of support from upper management which left my team and I to feeling undervalued and overworked.
There are some great people there who truly believe in the mission, and they want to help the people we are there to serve.
Cons
There are people there who think the Omaha World Herald’s investigation was just a sour grapes hit piece and they didn’t really learn anything or reflect on how some of our attitudes prevent us from supporting the mission. Many jobs are from government funding so the pay is low unless you are an executive.
