Pros
My experience working at GovGrant was nothing but great, this was my first role out of university and I couldn’t have chosen a better company to join. They really do look after their employees, prioritising flexible working & ensuring everyone is happy in their role within the company. The people at GovGrant were all so lovely, I was welcomed perfectly when I first joined, and HR made sure to plan time for me to meet everyone so there was always a ‘family’ feel from the get go. This led to creating great friendships within the company & really enjoying working alongside everyone. GovGrant’s management is good, all very kind, professional & take a hands on approach to management, this differs from larger companies that may be less involved with teams/ roles within the company. They also really value employee opinions, this is great as it means they often check in and make sure you are growing and developing how you’d like to within the company. I couldn’t recommend them enough as a place to work.
Cons
Can’t think of any downsides to GovGrant. I would have definitely stayed longer if I hadn’t changed career routes.
