Pros
Working with the families and seeing positive change is rewarding. Lots of training that helps support us as mental health professionals.
Cons
You'll be working 60 hours per week! Too much repetitive paperwork. We have to be available 24/7 not only for the clients but also for nonstop amounts of paperwork. Your job never ends with MST. The program is evidence based and requires 30-40 documents per week on top of riding around the city having 18-20 sessions per week. Most Therapists get home about 10-11pm. Supervisor is childish, obnoxious, and unprofessional. After doing all the paperwork and seeing clients and being overwhelmed, they send back your documentation requesting edits as if we were in grad school again. It's a salary position and they take full advantage of it!!!! Slavery!!!
