Pros

The pay is good, and they offer flexible options for both hybrid and remote positions. But there is no annual bonus and 401k match.

Cons

I am writing this review to urgently address recent events within our company that have sparked valid concerns regarding the principles of fairness, equality, respect, and transparency. A pivotal matter that demands immediate attention is the composition of individuals impacted by recent workforce changes. Notably, within the span of the last three months, one person departed abruptly, and six others were let go. Remarkably, out of these seven individuals, six belong to diverse backgrounds. This numerical pattern cannot be dismissed as mere chance – it warrants a thorough examination. This situation has understandably heightened concerns and underscores the urgency of a deliberate and measured response. The questions surrounding the direction of our startup are growing. It's disconcerting to witness a substantial number of layoffs, especially when considering the initial hiring decisions. Why hire these employees if layoffs were imminent? The burden of these questionable choices should not fall on the newly hired, who are now grappling with the repercussions of senior leadership's over-hiring decisions. Furthermore, the manner in which these layoffs are executed raises concerns. Laying off people within a day with only a two-week severance is far from satisfactory. In addition, expecting employees to give two weeks' notice while not reciprocating the same level of consideration is concerning and undermines the principles of fairness and respect. It's a stark reminder that employees are to be treated with respect; they are not machines. Every individual within our company contributes significantly, and it's vital that their dignity is upheld.

Pros

There is good work-life balance and pay

Cons

The company is largely driven by the engineering team, with no collaboration from other departments. Decisions are being made by individuals at higher levels who lack the necessary competence and experience.
