Most Initiatives from the top do not seem well planned out, they are just demanded from on high, then the chaos rolls downhill from department heads to the front-line employees. Burnout and demoralization are common among all staff who do not feel heard in any decision-making processes that affect them. Additionally, due to the tuition benefit carrot, salaries remain low to the point of being noncompetitive in the current market, leaving staff to work three times as hard due to lack of assistance.
