Pros

Remote work and unlimited PTO.

Cons

All of the upper management and middle management in a particular group quit to find new opportunities because of the cultural issues that persist at this institution. Execs want to act like they care, but no action is taken to hold sales accountable for their poor behavior and treatment of others. Highly recommend to proceed with caution if you are considering working at Grasshopper.

Pros

Everyone who works at Grasshopper Bank is easy to work with. The flexibility of remote work is an added perk. There is fast paced growth, so you will be able to build skills quickly.

Cons

The job description agreed to doesn’t nearly come close to how much work you will do. Although the pay is decent, expect a heavy workload. You will take on more responsibilities as the bank grows but professional development (title, pay) may lag behind. The health insurance is decent but expensive compared to other bank’s offerings. It’s an okay place to work but I expect turnover from employees being burnt out and under compensated for what they actually do on a daily basis.
