Not so great

Pros

When you are fresh out of school, want to find out what you don't want in your future employments.

Cons

Excessive micro management, bad office location, unhealthy office, smelly, dirty, noisy, toxic fumes from loading dock, trucks, not spending money to fix problems, various political & religious agendas, cheapness, internal politics, favoritism, sexism, forcing/shaming to "volunteer" when you don't want to. Office workers did not get higher education to do heavy manual work outside in sun and heat for long time, no sunscreen offered, old computer programs used to run all operation. Some department heads at past retirement age, stuck to old days. Expectation too high for little pay. Turnover rate is highest I have ever seen. There is no process or structure. Booking dept. is a mess. Whole company is all about saving few bucks at any cost but not when it comes to management doing whatever they want. Many good people left, more will.

Giggles all the way ⭐️

Pros

Free lunch(unless you get poisoned)

Cons

Working under my ex-boss was a challenging experience that left a negative impact on me. This review will shed light on their professional demeanor rather than personal attributes. Firstly, it is regrettable that this ex-boss's behavior was often dominated by discussions about their privileged background. Constantly highlighting their family's success seemed unnecessary and created an uncomfortable work environment. True leadership should be based on merit and accomplishments, rather than relying on family achievements. Furthermore, the ex-boss's ascent to a managerial position appeared to be more about pretense than genuine qualifications. Their incessant giggling and lack of authenticity were concerning, as it undermined their credibility as a leader. A leader should inspire trust and respect, and unfortunately, their behavior often came across as artificial and insincere. In conclusion, my experience with this particular ex-boss was disappointing. The excessive emphasis on their privileged background, lack of authenticity, constant giggling , and unconvincing smiles created an unpleasant work atmosphere. It is crucial for organizations to prioritize genuine leadership qualities, fostering an inclusive environment where employees are valued and respected for their skills and expertise. Constructive feedback and a commitment to professionalism are essential for fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Disconnect between idealistic management and disgruntled kitchen

Pros

Lofty ideals, like composting and sustainable farming. Steady, reliable work. Well known and well-respected company. Female-forward, tries to make a point of hiring women into leadership roles.

Cons

Very low pay, poor kitchen management, generally low morale. The drive to hire women causes them to be viewed as "affirmative action" hires and they are very disrespected.
