Pros

You can get a job with them rather quickly. No experience is necessary but there's a reason for that.

Cons

Okay, so I feel I need to intervene here. This is a company that will hire anyone to a work a job that is something not many people would want to do despite how many reviews posted here say it is. After you are hired, you have to train the next person and so on and so forth. Anyways the job is working on a sales floor selling cable in stores like Wal-Mart as one reviewer already said. If you think that is a job that sounds like it has endless opportunities, be my guest. You work long hours on a small base salary and with the amount of hours you have to work, it equals less than minimum wage if you sell nothing. If you sell little, you make almost nothing. That is the reality of sales/commission jobs. That's how they get you. It's that simple. Here's the truth. I expect to see a flurry of more positive reviews posted after this one in a matter of days. Companies sometimes go out of their way to try to boast their ratings.

Pros

People will learn not all job postings are as they seem. I guess for the few people who love working on commission only, they might be able to make decent money.

Cons

So college grads see a job posting that sounds too good to be true. Well the truth is it is. Jobs like Greater Boston Events will try to prey on college grads, even if it means calling them 5 times to try to get them in for an interview. All I can tell you is this is not a high paying, marketing job like it claims. It is a commission, sales job where you'll have to go door to door selling products nobody wants. Greater Boston Events is not the only company like it. Also look out for companies like Azure Marketing, New England Insights and Microfinancial. They do the same thing! The other reviews on here are fakes, you can count on it. You want to know what's wrong with all the reviews posted here? It's simple. Look at how vague each one is. Each review claims this company is so fantastic to work for yet, yet they fail to give one single detail about what their actual jobs entail. They don't even tell you what they are doing. One reviewer even says, " If you want to know more, you should go in and find out yourself!" Are you kidding? Sounds like a Pyramid Scheme, doesn't it? Because it is. Not one review or their website say it is a door to door sales job. It's like they don't want you to know. The reason they don't want you to know is because sales/commission jobs suck and nobody wants to do them. Use your head. If a company is desperate to get people in the door without telling them anything about the actual job, that's a big red-flag right there. If you can barley find any information about the company on the web at all, that's another red-flag.

Pros

Fast response rate to resumes. ( probably because they're desperate to hire people) If you can speak English, and drive a car, and sell Cable TV to people at places like Walmart, you're hired.

Cons

First of all, if this company posts their positions as "marketing," then it is a scam. It is actually a sales position. This company sends employees to places like WalMart and BJ's, and makes them sell to customers there. (Essentially, this is a store manager position to sell cable TV). Their only client is Direct TV.
