Company culture trickles directly from narcissistic CEO

Pros

There were some great people but they have mostly left and the few that remain are looking for new jobs. You can make good money but if you work hard and achieve a high income you will be resented and terminated.

Cons

All the bad reviews are spot on. The good reviews were written by GPE management as the company cannot find new talent. There's no stability and there's a constant air of tension and unhappiness created by a CEO that regularly brings employees to tears. Hard work is not appreciated, nor are good results, mediocrity with a smile is however, much appreciated by Mr. Slack. When I first met him I in my interview I thought he was a creepy guy but I chastised myself for being judgmental. Looking back my instincts were spot on. Ryan Slack lacks any empathy or leadership skills. The company is mismanaged and has very little money, promised bonuses were arbitrarily taken off the table. Nefarious schemes against employees abound and you will be spoken about inappropriately behind your back by upper management.

Pros

The industry is exciting...too bad GreenPearl is just a company within the industry and not the industry itself because GreenPearl and its future is NOT exciting.

Cons

If you like being lied to, having a passive aggressive CEO and dealing with general incompetence from upper management, then GreenPearl is the place for you! Management does such a poor hiring job that they are forced to neglect and forego contractually obligated bonuses in an effort to make up for the cash shortfall they face based on a lack of sales from its nonperforming staff. Despite this pattern existing, management continues to make questionable (to phrase it nicely) hires that result in almost no productivity. Often times upper management is hired with little to no sales experience in the industry, which results in a true net negative. Additionally, the CEO is not a team player and will attempt to passive aggressively start conflicts with employees. Real estate is a potentially lucrative field, so I would reccommend that someone with actual skills and vision buy out this company and right the ship...but then I realize that there is little to no talent amongst employees and management, which has resulted directly in what I assume to be a large cash flow deficit so a valuation over $10.00 would be laughable. This ship is sinking faster than the Titanic except there are no pieces of wood to float on.

Pros

- We recently got bonuses of several thousand dollars each by the CEO and COO in order to stay at the company because they are in the middle of an litigation where they are trying to steal a woman's company - a woman the CEO took advantage of and that we all witnessed and sadly, assisted. - You'll bond after you leave with the people that worked here. And you'll be able to get help from the people who left bc they will feel so much sympathy for you that you are still stuck there in a place where so much corruption occurs. You will not leave on happy terms. - You are paid to stay - paid to lie, cheat, steal. But that's ok - bc we are all paid a decent amount of money to do so.

Cons

- Extremely unethical company and unethical management that will do anything for their wallets. Don't be fooled by how nice they seem - these guys are not sincere and only care about taking control of things and businesses that rae not theres. - If you work in sales - you will be taught how to do the most unthethical things by Ryan Slack.. He has said to leave things out of the contracts from sponsors - and to gouge prices for sponsors. It will ruin your reputation - but you'll be forced to do it. - Greenpearl is a sinking ship - don;t bring your name into it. - You will be forced to write glassdoor reviews. Because of the litigation Greenpearl is in - the CEO and COO made an announcement to the department heads to write positive glass door reviews. The one before this with 5 stars is a fake. - If you speak up about what you see - you'll be fired - this happened with one employee - the CEO and COO went around saying he was a spy - he wasn't - just a good employee that spoke up.
