Pros

Coffee selection was good, not much else. Coffee selection was good, snacks every now and then. They usually remember birthdays and give you cake.

Cons

Poor management, disrespectful owner, terrible communication among management, lack of trust in employees. GreenTek is easily the worst job I've ever had as far as organization and management is concerned. The owner is very disrespectful to them employees, often berating them in front of other coworkers. They spend all day watching you on the cameras to find things to nitpick about. You aren't allowed to ask any questions or make any suggestions that don't align with the owner, if you do he will make it a point to "Shut you down" in front of everyone. They don't have any type of safety regulations or procedures to ensure a safe work environment, rarely have any safety equipment or supplies to help make the job easier to do. All they will buy is gloves or tape guns. It was 6 months before they even bought back braces, and they didn't get the proper sizes for everyone. I'm sure they are violating at least 2-3 OSHA rules in respect to employee safety. Communication is horrible at best. The COO will give you one set of orders 1st thing in the morning, and then the owner will come and tell you to do the complete opposite later that afternoon. they never even speak with each other, but get mad that you're doing whatever the other told you to do. Speak up for yourself, enjoy the target on your back. The work moral in the warehouse is completely different than in the sales office. The warehouse crew gets blamed for everything, even when the sales team sends the wrong orders down to be shipped. Cheap, hire undocumented workers and pay temps under the table to avoid paying a decent wage. They hired temp workers from Randstad once for what they said was "moving pallets around". They had a few of the temps workers build an entirely new wall inside the building. They tell you when you're hired that pay day is the 1st and the 15th... but you actually get paid ad the end of the day on the 3rd and 18th unless it falls on a weekend. They won't do direct deposit.

Pros

Lots of coffee and sugary snacks. Your job there probably wont last long if you get one.

Cons

Dirty and cheap flea market feel. Legitimate systems for inventory management or anything else do not exist. Disorganized environment where only immediate family of ownership has input. All employees outside the family are treated with distrust. Authority to perform required job functions is non existent because it is a small family owned environment where their level of distrust is so high that they do not give outsiders the resources they need to be successful. Job titles mean nothing. Opinions of family ownership matter most whether baseless or not. No benefits. Low pay. Caste system feel with regard to employment position. Micromanagement. Frequent hiring of undocumented workers for manual labor and under the table payment so they can avoid paying for legitimate warehouse staff. Frequent behind the scenes berating and badmouthing of customers approaching with legitimate issues. Frequent unprofessional phone etiquette by management within full ear shot of all workers.

Pros

Start up setting. able to learn and try what you want. Interesting set of products and sectors to learn about.

Cons

Demanding more and more and more work for the same below average pay. No Benefits. Job description doesn't include all tasks that you will be required to fill. Extremely resistant to change or spending money to update aging systems.
