Pros

Working in Greycon makes you feel like you are a part of a family. There is a nice combination of people (and number of them) and structure, so you do not feel like a drop in the ocean, making you want to give your best, instead of forcing it. Employees are spread between Europe, Latin America, China and USA. UK, Uruguay and Greece are the 3 timezones a developer with have to work with. Most people are trully experts on their field and people are always there to help you either when you first arrive or whenever you seek help in the various projects you might take up. The type of business is the biggest reason for this, management does its best, but there is always room for improvement. Everything is there in terms of equipment hardware & software. Tools-wise, it tries to catch up to the latest trends with a significant improvent done the last years. Generally employees work flexible hours. Management is humane and always there to hear and understand any issues you might face and are willing to help whenever they can. For a software company, it is active and stable for many years and the business is stable as well, so it feels safe being a part of it. Finally, I would like to comment about Constantine Goulimis, even though his role in the company is not the same anymore: He is one of the most ethical person I have ever met. This opinion is shared among the employees I personally had the chance to talk about as well (current and former). He has proven this many times along the years and I believe he needs to be respected for that. He unwillingly exudes and intimidating aura, which unfortunatelly can easily misunderstood (I have been there).

Cons

Compensations and Benefits could be better. There seems to be an improvement the last 1-2 years. Even though most people can easily work from home and they do when needed, there is no set policy regarding this (e.g. ability to make work from home permanently and relocate after X years). There are not that many out of work, team-bonding activities. Workload may not be consistent and could get frentic at points or relaxed at others.
