The office staff is horrendous, and it only got worse as they added more office workers. Many mistakes were made when it came to covering shifts and it almost seemed like they were all on different pages. I heard many complaints from clients, and their families, that caregivers would show up late or not at all, and they never felt they could rely on continuous, quality care. Some caregivers were great, and others were so bad it was difficult for them to believe that anyone would hire them for such a position. When these issues were brought up to the owners, it seemed like nothing would be done, and they didn't take things seriously enough, in my opinion. They left many things up to their new operations/office manager who was in competent at best, and she was rude and unprofessional, to clients and caregivers alike, on many occasions, but the owners, apparently, either didn't/wouldn't do anything about it. She sent other office employees running in tears, and that is NOT the way to run a business. Instead of getting their ducks in a row in the two locations that they already own, they are thinking of buying another location in State College??? Not sure I get that, but maybe it is all about the money, although they will tell you that it is quality care that brought them to this business...
